JOB DETAILS:

 

The University of Wisconsin-Parkside is accepting applications for the position of Adjunct Instructor in Musical Theatre Voice to begin Fall 2024. The successful candidate will teach private voice lessons to Theatre Arts students with a concentration in Musical Theatre. Candidates should be familiar with both the classical and contemporary musical theatre canons as well as pop/rock styles. Interested candidates will additionally be considered to serve as music director for theatre productions and/or serve as department collaborative pianist for additional compensation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Required Qualifications:
¿ BM or BFA in Musical Theatre;
¿ Expertise teaching musical theatre and/or contemporary commercial voice;


Preferred Qualifications:
¿ DMA, MM, or MFA;
¿ Demonstrated experience teaching students from diverse backgrounds and experiences at the university level;
¿ Advanced piano skills;
¿ Interest in vocal science and vocal health;
¿ Experience serving as Musical Director for theatre productions. 
 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

¿ Teach private voice lessons for up to 16 Theatre Arts students with a concentration in Musical Theatre.
